Privacy Policy
ReferPerk ("we", "us") operates referperk.ca. This policy describes information we handle when you browse the directory, choose optional analytics, or submit an offer. It is general information, not legal advice.
Information we handle
We do not require an account to browse. If you submit an offer, the information you provide (such as your email address and message) is sent to our configured form processor so we can review and respond. Hosting providers may process standard request data, such as IP address, browser information, and requested pages, to operate and protect the site.
Cookies, analytics, and your choice
Optional analytics use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) only after you select Accept in the cookie banner. Before that choice, analytics scripts and referral-click measurement do not run. Your choice is stored in a first-party cookie. You can reject optional analytics or clear site data in your browser settings. If an analytics measurement ID is not configured, GA4 will not load even after consent.
We do not use local storage for referral-click measurement unless you have opted in. When enabled, it helps prevent duplicate measurement of the same referral click. Merchant websites may use their own cookies and tracking under their respective privacy policies.
How we use information
We use submitted information to review offers and respond to inquiries, technical request data to maintain and secure the site, and consented analytics to understand aggregate site usage. We do not sell personal information.
Retention and service providers
Information is retained only as needed for these purposes, operational security, and legal obligations. Our hosting, form, and (when consented and configured) analytics providers may process information on our behalf and may operate in other jurisdictions.
Your privacy rights
Canada (PIPEDA): You may request access to or correction of personal information we hold about you, subject to applicable law.
European Economic Area and United Kingdom (GDPR): Where applicable, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, or object to processing, and to data portability. Consent-based processing can be withdrawn at any time without affecting prior processing.
California (CCPA/CPRA): Where applicable, California residents may request access, correction, or deletion and may exercise other rights provided by law. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Children and changes
This directory is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. We may update this policy and will revise the date above when we do.
